Sound continues to be the catalyst for me.
Wijdan Hendricks
As someone who has always, in some way, pursued creative outlets of expression, music has helped shape my perspective and channel my feelings in to those outlets, which spanned in to the work I do today.
Sound has carried every version of me over the last 16 years - from the first set of surround sound speakers gifted to me at 15 years old, to now. And what better way to celebrate this evolution of sound than with the culmination of art, creativity and impeccable audio design.
The Pantheone speaker has quickly found a loving home within our space: daily tasks carried out to the rhythm of uplifting electronic beats, getting dressed to the saxophonist solo from a jazz playlist, family breakfasts at the table accompanied by gentle background music. This ever present inclusion of sound in our daily routine has cultivated a renewed appreciation for our home and a deeper gratitude for what we have built over the years.
As time passes, I look forward to seeing how sound will evolve within my work - its impact on my creativity already certainly undeniable. As I continue to use my creativity to highlight good design - using storytelling to share those stories behind good design - I know music will be the vehicle that drives the visuals. With the Obsidian speaker, a whole new world of music and sound has been opened to me, and it’s already changed the way I think and approach my work, for the better.
Our Obsidian speaker has been traveling room to room and has met our every sound and audio wants with ease. An extended member of the family, even, and one who has boldly entered our space for all to enjoy and admire.
Best,
Wijdan
